We most recently put our Public Relations and Social Media hat back on and worked with the wickedly smart and talented VARIAL SURF TECHNOLOGY founders. Varial Surf Technology is driven to improve surfboard performance by focusing primarily on the core. They have sought out high-performance and low-weight core materials standard to the aerospace and motorsports industries and adapted those technologies to surfboard design and construction. This has resulted in developing three high modulus cores which give the boards enhanced strength-to-weight ratios, make them highly responsive, fast and give the surfer a multitude of flex options.
It was such a pleasure learning about this technology and devising a PR and Social Plan for them. As an avid surf junkie it was fun and interesting to see the direction the performance of surf is headed. These guys are revolutionizing the surf industry and are definitely a company to lookout for.
