Grammy Week

Cage The Elephant Set List

Cage The Elephant Set List

Grammy’s are LIKE major in Los Angeles and rightfully so, it is the biggest night in music after all! When the award nominations are read the planning for the musicians and industry insider events begin. I teamed up with SONOS to host + produce their numerous events during Grammy Week which included performances by Cage the Elephant (in association with Pandora),  ILOVEMAKONNEN and the queen of country Lee Ann Womack (who might I add was super funny and beyond awesome). Crazy fun events and we were thrilled to be apart of it.

We also hosted a Grammy Viewing party complete with pizza from Delicious Pizza , the hip hop pizza joint from the founders of the 80’s music label Delicious Vinyl, and live-streamed the event from the East Coast feed.

Sonos Studio NYC

Have you ever been to NEUEHOUSE in NYC? No? Well you should go, its amazingly beautiful, smart and sophisticated. We loved working in the members only workspace and what a place to throw a week long event with over 30 musicians, concerts, interactive installations and discussions. CC Events was tasked with liaising between Sonos and IMPRINT PROJECTS to keep things moving in a smooth direction and ensure quality was perfect.

It basically turned into a futuristic day camp with a lot of weird, fun things going on. In addition to daily concerts, you’ve got workstations where you can make your own Sonos speakers, a theater where you can take in an A/V installation by artist JD Walsh and the band Spoon, and a moving mercurial sculpture collaboration by musician Dev Hynes and design shop The Principals

40th Birthday Blowout

Working with #clientawesome was nothing but fun and as soon as he mentioned fog machines and laser lights I knew this was gonna be a goodie. #clientawesome was turning 40 and wanted to have a blowout of a bash. Selecting The BOUGAINVILLEA ESTATE  in La Quinta CA was chosen as the place to boogie. Inviting 100 of his favorite people #clientawesome served up tequila shots upon entry as The Rat Pack belted through the house music system. Moving to the backyard event space was nothing but magic for dinner complete with delicious grub and libations served up by DASH AND HANDFUL under the desert sky.

The amazing DJ FLASHDANCE had the crowd dancing to the wee hours and SMILEBOOTH brought out all the smiles. Oh and did we mention that he wanted to create a room that kicked it back to his college years where him and his friends would come home from the bar late and party in the “Napster Room”. Yeah, thats where the fog machines ended up. So epically fun!40th bday

TuNeYaRdS

We teamed up with our fav friends over at Pandora to throw a super cool concert with retro funky band TuNeYaRdS at the Sonos Studio. We especially loved their face paints streaks and cool beats. They certainly are unique, but in a really really good way. An Evening With tUnE-yArDs

Giving Back with Consano

CC Events was asked by a former client to work on a charity event with a company called Consano. Consano was born from the founder, Molly, learning that she had breast cancer and that little dollars were going to research for both her cancer and a variety of other illnesses. Consano is a nonprofit that crowd funds for medical research. Molly and her husband Scott were a dream to work with and this event was their coming out party in Los Angeles.

The Roost at LA Farm was chosen as the venue for the event, which would comprised of a silent auction and The Roost’s premiere chef John prepared a tasting menu paired with wine. NBC’s smash hit Parks and Recreation writer Megan Amram did a reading from her new book “Science for Her” a parody textbook.

The venue had a farmhouse vibe so we decorated the silent auction table as a farm stand. We also worked with Bedrock  who handles all the sound and AV equipment for pretty much every event we do in LA and NY. They are the best and awesome to work with. At the end of the day Consano raised a whole bunch of money and people won safari’s in Africa, nights at the Four Season’s in Beverly Hills and plenty of other fun items! IMG_2517
